Due to the evolving situation caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19), SAMI has put on hold its planning and recruitment for maths camps this summer.
Our policy has always been to follow UK Foreign Travel advice when it comes to planning and advertising camps, and whilst travel bans and health warnings are in effect we cannot recommend travel for any volunteers wishing to attend camps in Africa.
We will be writing to all of our in-country partners to explain our decision, and to discuss other ways that SAMI can best support any ongoing projects from a distance.
